One-Bowl Chocolate Chip Bread
Quick breads—breads without yeast—are the perfect place to start for beginner bakers. This chocolate chip quick bread is made even easier by using just one bowl. Plus, it’s delicious!
Total Time :Prep: 20 min. Bake: 65 minutes
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups sour cream
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350°. Beat eggs, sugar and sour cream until well blended. Gradually stir in flour. Fold in chocolate chips. Transfer to a greased 9×5-in. loaf pan.
- Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, 65-75 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
