Are you having a party tonight? I have the perfect finger food or appetizer that your guest will surely love! Oh, man, these bacon-wrapped smokies are so good! They are meaty and greasy. A very satisfying appetizer that goes perfectly well with wine or beer! I also enjoy eating these bad boys with steamed rice. Oh, yes! They are best to eat with rice as well. Give it a try and be amazed by how easy it is to cook such amazing food! Feel free to add more ingredients if you feel like it. For example, you can add chilli powder if you want an extra kick. I have tried it three times already and I should say, chilli powder takes this recipe to the next level. I hope you all love this simple recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 lb. bacon, cut into thirds

1 lb. Lil’ Smokies (small sausages)

1 stick butter

Step 2: Cut the bacon into three and wrap each smokie with it.

Step 3: Place the bacon-wrapped smokies on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

Step 4: Place a saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 5: Add 1 cup of brown sugar and butter. Stir until well mixed and the butter has melted completely.

Step 6: Pour in the butter mixture on top of the smokies.

Step 7: Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar on top.

Step 8: Bake inside the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 9: Turn the heat up to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F and bake for another 5 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and brown.

Step 10: Remove from the oven and let it sit at room temperature to cool for at least 5 minutes.

Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
